1001 Muslim Inventions

Al Jazzeri Clock

Opening in London, New York and Istanbul last year and about to open in Abu Dhabi and California, 1001 Inventions offers a fascinating history of the inventions of the Asian and Arab States in the 13th and 14th century. Underpinning all the knowledge in Europe, from the invention of forceps for child birth and surgical tools, most of which are still used today, like the humble scalpel. A real must see to understand the colourful and inventive world of those times and people.
